Thunder Send Dogs To The Pound
It was a chilly night but the Thunder were able to warm up quickly and cruise to an easy 6-2 victory over the Huskies. The game was barely two minutes old and the Thunder were up by two goals. The Thunder were able to pot another in the first period and three more in the second. Kyle led the way with a hat trick while Chad, Ben and Brandon added singles. The Thunder were without one of their assistant captains as Drew sat out with a lower body injury. Johnny also was forced to miss the game between the pipes as a result of the flu. Dylan left the game late in the third period with a lower body injury.
The Thunder hope to return to full strength on tuesday as they will visit the Hawks.
