KV Wins Season Opener
The season opener for the Thunder started out well. After two exhibition loses the Thunder were eager to show the league they had found their legs. The first two periods were close and a goal by Jacob had the team out front. KV tied the game in the dying seconds of the second period and took the lead on two goals in twenty seconds in the third. The Thunder fought back but were unable to bend the twine.
They look forward to their next game against Fundy on thursday
